For those parents that are interested, we hold weekly Bible studies and do do follow up on the recent Health Seminar.

Teacher Rejoice

Rejoice, our new STEPS teacher, has over 15 years of experience in teaching preschoolers. 

Her daughter Thea is acting as her assistant.

STEPS Mothers helping to teach

A part of our program is to include the parents as much as possible in the education of their children. Here you see 2 mothers that are helping us to teach the children to read. 

Usually we do one-on-one reading with the pupils, which is a lot more effective. From the new enrollees, most of them are already on book #4 of the 12 books of the Early Bird Reader set that we use, and that after less than one month!

Young Volunteers helping

Our STEPS school has received new and young, enthusiastic volunteers to help us teach the children. Once a week Gabe and Flo will come and help teach the children reading, writing and math.

Health Seminar for STEPS Parents

On June 30 we held a Health Seminar with pertinent points of nutrition and hygiene for the parents of the STEPS children. We had about 30 parents present.
